The 2024 silk weaving industry green development Symposium was held in Hongze, Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province.
At the meeting, filament weaving entrepreneurs, experts and scholars from textile colleges and research institutions shared and exchanged ideas on the topic of "green and low-carbon harmonious coexistence", and jointly promoted the accelerated transformation and upgrading of green and low-carbon industries.
Wang Jiayi, president of China Filament Weaving Association, pointed out in the theme report that in recent years, China's filament weaving industry has formed rich practices in sustainable management innovation, energy saving and water saving, pollution prevention and control, comprehensive utilization of resources, green manufacturing and other aspects, and has achieved stage results, but it is still facing challenges such as insufficient green management. There is not enough attention paid to the disclosure of green sustainable information such as ESG and carbon footprint, the overall proportion of green factories is low, and the green coordinated development of the industrial chain is weak. At present, the green transformation of the industry is in a critical period.
Wang Jiayi pointed out that the key to solving these problems is to strengthen the awareness of green responsibility, actively explore green certification, management needs certification, certification promotes management. To this end, filament weaving enterprises should pay attention to the product carbon footprint, to increase ESG disclosure, to speed up the construction of green factories, based on a global perspective, the concept of green development to the level of enterprise development strategy, pay attention to and participate in green certification related work, green low-carbon into conscious awareness and action.
The green development of filament weaving industry is imperative. Wang Jiayi suggested that the industry enterprises, first, to increase the supply of green products, improve the recycling rate of waste textiles, establish the industry green development cooperation mechanism; Second, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of production equipment, actively use energy-saving, low-carbon and clean production technology and equipment, increase the research and development and application of green technology, water conservation and emission reduction, improve the efficiency of water resource utilization, strengthen the integration of digital and green, and empower green transformation through digitalization; Third, on the road to participate in market competition, consciously put the concept of "ecological priority and green development" into business activities, and constantly improve international and domestic competitiveness.

Duan Xiaoping, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, pointed out that the green development level of the filament weaving industry is related to the overall high-quality development of the textile industry. In the future, the industry should accurately grasp the new trend of industrial development, complete, accurate and fully implement the new development concept, shape the advantages in the new system structure and industrial correlation, accelerate the pace of transformation of "science and technology, fashion and green", and fully demonstrate the strength and responsibility of the industry in the construction of a modern textile industrial system.
As the host of this event, in recent years, Hongze has focused on the "3+1" leading industries dominated by new fiber materials, equipment manufacturing, green food and strategic emerging industries, and is striving to achieve the integration of new quality productivity and new industrialization. In particular, the rapid development of Hongze fiber new material industry has laid a solid foundation for building a core competitive recycled fiber new material park.
Zuo Peng, member of the Standing Committee of Hongze District Party Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Development Zone, introduced that the development trend of green fiber industry in Hongze Development Zone is strong, and the high-tech nylon textile multi-category and differentiated nylon material industrial chain cluster is based on Taihua New material. Green regeneration and differentiated polyester material industrial chain cluster with Pepu Technology and Sanlian New materials as the main chain; The aramid fiber material industry chain cluster with Chaomeis and OvI ArAMID as the main chain...... The new industrial system and development space are laying a solid foundation for the take-off of Hongze Economic Development Zone.
